FAQ & Troubleshooting
I signed up but see no content
Section titled “I signed up but see no content”You need a Workspace and a Project first, then a Scenario written directly in the app. Follow Quick Start.
Explore says “no Scenarios yet”
Section titled “Explore says “no Scenarios yet””The Project genuinely has none yet — use + New scenario to write one. See Writing a Scenario.
Explore says “no Scenarios match”
Section titled “Explore says “no Scenarios match””Scenarios exist, but your filters are hiding all of them. Reset the Feature, lifecycle, verification, and place filters in the toolbar (or filter sheet on mobile) — see Exploring & Filtering. Deprecated Scenarios are outside the default view, so a Project holding only retired facts looks empty until you select that lifecycle.
I can’t edit Scenarios
Section titled “I can’t edit Scenarios”Editing content requires the Owner, Admin, Member, or Editor Project role. Reviewer and Reader can’t edit — ask a Project admin for a different role. See Roles & Permissions.
I can’t change a Scenario’s status
Section titled “I can’t change a Scenario’s status”Reader is browse-only. Ask a Project admin for Reviewer or higher.
I can’t record a fit or a gap
Section titled “I can’t record a fit or a gap”Verification is blocked until every callee — nested children, chain successors, and the cross-cutting Features this Scenario uses — is itself a fit. The status popover names whichever one is holding it up, and offers Verify all to record them together. Lifecycle changes have no such gate. See Scenario Status.
I can’t delete a Scenario
Section titled “I can’t delete a Scenario”Only a Draft can be deleted (and restored later from Deleted scenarios in Project settings). A Published Scenario can never be deleted, because something may already cite it — set its lifecycle to Deprecated to retire it instead.
An invitation didn’t work
Section titled “An invitation didn’t work”Sign in with the exact email address the invite was sent to. If the Workspace is at its seat limit, acceptance is blocked until a seat frees up or the Workspace upgrades — see Inviting Your Team. A Workspace admin can revoke and resend a pending invite from Members.
I hit a scenario, seat, or project limit
Section titled “I hit a scenario, seat, or project limit”The Builder plan caps scenarios, seats, and projects per Workspace. Free up room by removing unused content or members, or upgrade — see Plans & Billing.
Where are Help and docs?
Section titled “Where are Help and docs?”From your account (click the avatar at the bottom of the sidebar) → Help and docs, any time you’re signed in. That opens docs.artless.dev in a new tab — see Account & Navigation.
I belong to only one Workspace or Project
Section titled “I belong to only one Workspace or Project”ArtlessDev skips the picker and opens it directly. Use the context switcher at the top of the sidebar to get back to the full list.
