Exploring & Filtering
Inside a Project, three views cover browsing Scenarios: Explore, Features, and Scenarios.
Explore
Section titled “Explore”The default Project view. Every Feature’s Scenarios appear in one continuous scroll, with sticky Feature headers stacking as you read. A scroll-back hint appears when you jump via an in-content link, so you can click back to where you were.
Features
Section titled “Features”A compact list of every Feature with a per-status count strip, needs-attention first: gap, not attempted, draft, fit. Because the two status axes are independent, the strip collapses them rather than showing every combination — a Draft counts as a draft whatever its verification, and Published Scenarios are counted by their verification outcome. Search Features by name. An Explicit fits only checkbox drops Scenarios whose fit came from a Verify all cascade rather than their own check. Click a Feature to open its detail page — Explore-style, but scoped to that Feature’s Scenarios only.
Scenarios
Section titled “Scenarios”A dense, sortable table: title, Feature, place, and both status axes, with
inline Change status, Edit content, and Activity history links.
Relationship columns show Parent, Consumes, and Consumed-by links. The URL
supports deep links, e.g. ?scenario=<id>&expand=1&history=1, so you can
share a link straight to one Scenario, expanded, with its history open.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”Explore and Scenarios share filter state: Feature, Lifecycle, Verification, and place multi-selects (places are grouped by vantage — Product, Client, Service — in the filter), plus a search box — in the toolbar on desktop, in a filter sheet on mobile. The two status axes filter separately and a Scenario has to match both, which is what makes narrow questions possible: Published but Not attempted finds the specs the team stands behind that nobody has checked yet. Deprecated Scenarios are out of the default view — select the Deprecated lifecycle to see them. A Feature detail page ignores those filters (visiting one Feature directly is intentional), but still respects the display-panel toggles below.
Display panel (desktop Explore)
Section titled “Display panel (desktop Explore)”- Relationships — toggle whether Chained, Nested, and Cross-cutting Scenarios render inline (see Scenario Relationships).
- Badges — colored vs. monochrome palette; show/hide place and status badges.
- Scenario details — expand or collapse all evidence blocks, or just drift sections, globally.
- Remember settings — persist your choices for No one/this session, this Project, this Workspace, or globally, stored on your device.
Empty and loading states
Section titled “Empty and loading states”- No Scenarios yet — Explore prompts you to write your first one.
- No Scenarios match — your filters are hiding everything; reset them.
Mobile
Section titled “Mobile”Filters live in a sheet opened from the Explore toolbar. The sidebar opens as a drawer from the top-left menu button, and help/account actions sit in its footer — see Account & Navigation.
